Notice anything different?
I opened up my blog this morning to find myself suddenly and intensely underwhelmed. I’m a very particular person (a perfectionist, if you will) and for my own home page to bore me- well, that just wouldn’t do.
I had an unusual amount of free time today, so I decided, “Why not spice things up?”
The result was this logo (which you’ve probably already noticed at the header):
I completed it by hand with a black felt tipped marker, and though the scanner made it a little fuzzy (I’m not totally technologically inclined), I’m pretty satisfied with it.
“Stellular” is Latin for “spotted with stars”, so I quite literally went in and spotted the inkwell with stars. Though I drew everything by hand, the font was largely inspired by the Jenna Sue font.
Hopefully I’ll be able to upload a better quality version soon, but for now, I think my blog’s slightly less boring. Which was my goal all along.
